I recently received a lovely package from Bee Good containing their Honey and Propolis 2-in-1 cleanser*, some bumble bee chocolates and a little packet of seeds and I’m so excited to tell you all about it! If you’ve read previous posts you will know I have the most sensitive skin so I really struggle with finding skincare that doesn’t cause my skin to react!
Bee Good are a British company who create natural skincare, hand creams and lip balms. All of their products contain beeswax, honey and propolis. Bee Good are working to help conserve the British population of bees and I loved receiving a little packet of seeds to plant so I can do my part in helping the bumble bees too!
This cleanser contains wildflower honey, propolis, beeswax , crambe oil and rapeseed oil. Honey is a natural antibacterial and has antioxidants to slow down aging. It’s also great at locking moisture into the skin. Propolis (which is resin bees collect from tree sap and plants) is a natural skin soother, it also has antibacterial properties and is great for sorting out problem skin as it promotes the healing of blemishes. Beeswax softens and rehydrates dehydratated skin.
The cleanser comes with its own muslin cloth.
I’m a big fan of double cleansing, my skin is so sensitive that any makeup left on my face causes me to break out. I’ve been using this cleanser second after my Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm . It has a thick creamy consistency and you apply it to dry skin. You only need a small amount so this tube is going to last ages! It’s extremely soothing on this skin, as soon as I start massaging it into my face I can feel my skin becoming softer. You rinse the cleanser off by dampening the muslin cloth and gentle massaging your face. This also gently exfoliates your skin.
My skin hasn’t broken out at all since I started using this cleanser and it’s getting more hydrated so the honey is definitely locking moisture into my skin! I love how gentle this cleanser is, yet it works really well and fully removes all of my makeup! My skin feels clean after use but doesn’t feel stripped of its natural oils (not that it has many!) I love this brand and the fact they use beeswax, I’m really looking forward to ordering some of their lip balms and their daily moisturiser to try!
I hope you enjoyed hearing about this honey and propolis cleanser. Let me know if you’ve you tried any of Bee Good’s products?
