With Mother’s Day coming up (26th February for those of you who aren’t sure of the date!) I thought making a list of some of my top picks might be helpful for those of you who are stuck for ideas on how to treat your Mumma on this special day! I know my mum has done so much for me (especially over the past few months) so I’m getting her lots of goodies so she can pamper herself!
Neal’s Yard Remedies – Orange Flower Night Cream
I love Neal’s Yard Remedies and I am a big fan of their Wild Rose Collection. I saw this on their website and thought it would be a great treat for my mum! This is an intensive night cream for dry skin and it is deeply nourishing. It contains a blend of plant oils including neroli, pomegranate and rose hip. It smells and feels so luxurious. This night cream is also rich in antioxidants which reduce the signs of aging.
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray Super Size
Those of you who read my February favourites post will know how much I adore Deep Sleep Pillow spray. The smell of lavender, vetivert and camomile soothe you to sleep and you wake up feeling more refreshed. When I saw This Works had released a super sized version I just had to purchase it and I think it’s a great gift for Mother’s Day! My mum’s normally run off her feet and exhausted by the time it’s bedtime so this is perfect for helping her get a great nights sleep. (And will mean she’ll finally stop stealing my spray!)
This Works Neroli & Ginger Candle
Another product from This Works that I’ve fallen in love with is their Neroli and Ginger candle. I think there’s nothing more relaxing than running a bubble bath, lighting a candle and having a good soak. I love the minimalistic packaging and the smell is incredible and very relaxing. This Works have a whole range of different candle scents if your mum isn’t a fan of Neroli and Ginger, I love the sound of their ‘Deep Sleep Heavenly Candle’ which is a mix of lavender and camomile essential oils, it’s definitely next on my list to purchase! These candles are definitely worth checking out for Mother’s Day or just if you want to treat yourself!
LoveGiveInk – Amazing Mum Keepsake Gift Set*
If you read my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide you will have seen a large selection of LoveGiveInk’s goodies perfect for Valentine’s Day and your special someone. LoveGiveInk have now released a Mother’s Day range which is just as beautiful! There’s a mix of notebooks, photo albums, cards, memory books and lots of other trinkets but my personal favourite and the item I fell in love with was the gorgeous Amazing Mum personalised gift set. My mum is really into gardening so I love the little quote ‘If Mother’s were flowers I would pick you’. The gift set comes with two little note cards, one which you can personalise. My favourite bit though is the adorable little Perspex circle with foiled writing of your choice. I went for ‘Best Mum Ever’ but you can chose whatever you’d like! You then pick whether you’d like gold or silver foiling and the colour of the ribbon. I know this is going to look lovely hung up in my mums kitchen.
LoveGiveInk currently have a competition over on their Instagram to win a notebook from their Mother’s Day range and some gorgeous biscuits from Honeywell bakes but be quick as it closes on the 17th!
Crabtree & Evelyn – Gardeners Hand Recovery Gift Set
As I said above, my mum is very into her gardening so her hands are always dry from washing off soil! I fell in love with this little tin box and it’s filled with some perfect products to give your hands some TLC! The set contains a Gardeners Hand Recover, Gardeners Hand Threapy, Gardeners Nail & Cuticle Cream and a nail buffer. The Gardeners Hand Recovery is a shea butter rich hand treatment containing tiny grains of pumice which gentle exfoliate hands and helps to soften dry skin. You then apply the Gardeners Nail & Cuticle cream and massage it in. Finally applying the Gardeners Hand Therapy to soften and moisturise your hands! I love the buffing block too! I’ve a post coming next week all about my nail care routine and buffing blocks play a big part!
I hope you enjoyed reading this gift guide and that it’s helped you find some ideas on how to treat your Mumma! What sort of gifts have you got in mind? Do any of these products feature in your list?
