I can’t believe it’s April already, this month seems to have flown by! I’ve tried to limit myself spending wise though like most months, I had to give in and purchase something! With it finally being spring I’ve been going for light, natural and glowy makeup and lots of pink.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick
My one splurge this month. Those of you who read my Pillow Talk review will know how long I’ve been waiting to try this lipstick and it was inevitable it would feature in my favourites! This is the perfect everyday, pinky nude, ‘my lips but better’ lipstick shade. It’s super comfortable on the lips even though it’s a matte shade I find it lasts on my lips for around 4-5 hours and even when it begins to fade it does so evenly meaning you avoid that awful patchy lipstick look. I feel this was well worth the price tag and only wish I’d bought it sooner! Thankfully I bought it just in time as Pillow Talk is about to go out of stock due to it being a limited edition shade. So if you feel this is something you’ll regret not purchasing, be quick!
Mac Mineralize – Soft & Gentle
This is a highlighter I’ve bought time and time again. Last time I restocked, it just fell to the back of my drawer but I’ve been reaching for it more and more as the weather gets better. This highlight is bronzey, yet subtle enough that it doesn’t look ‘mucky’ on pale skin. It’s very blendable and creates a gorgeous natural glow perfect for everyday but can also be layered to create an obvious highlight for a night out. I’ve been applying it using my Spectrum Collections A04 brush and blending it out.
BareFaced Beauty Mineral Foundation
I’ve had 5 or 6 travel sized pots of this foundation sitting in my makeup drawer for a few months now and this month, as I’ve been minimising my spending, I thought I’d pull these out and give them a try. I have 5 different shades and a setting powder. Both the shade ‘Serenity’ and ‘Innocent’ are great for my pale complexion! ‘Serenity’ is impressively pale and perfect for when I’m ghostly and want a ‘no makeup’ makeup look. ‘Innocent’ is warmer and gives my face a bit more colour without looking too dark or orange. Although this foundation is not full coverage I think it’s a great everyday foundation to dust on when you’re rushing to get out the door and is nice and light for spring time. BareFaced beauty are also a natural, cruelty free and vegan brand.
REN Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask*
I was sent this mask a couple of weeks ago by BeautyExpert and it has become a permanent fixture in my skincare routine. This mask is extremly soothing and comforting as well as moisturising! Masks are my favourite thing to do when I’ve got some time and my skin needs some TLC. This mask doesn’t dry out so my skin doesn’t feel tight after use just plump and moisturised! There will be a full review on this mask coming soon so keep an eye out!
BeeGood Intensive Hand Repair Cream
I placed an order with BeeGood a couple of weeks ago and have been loving this Honey, Borage and Echium Intensive Hand Repair Cream! I’ve been using it every night before going to sleep. Although it’s an intensive cream is sinks into skin quickly so you don’t have to sit up waiting on your hands drying. When I wake up my skin has been feeling incredibly moisturised and it hasn’t flared up any of the exzcema on my hands so I’m really impressed.
I hope enjoyed my favourites this month. Have any of these been your favourites products this month? What have you been loving?
