Pale Girl Makeup Edit

So the lovely Becca from Tea with B and I have decided to get together and create two posts on the best makeup for you pale girls out there. I always struggle to find shades that compliment pale skin whether it be foundations and concealers or lip products that promise to be an ‘everyday nude’ and either drain all the life from your face or look almost red! So here are my top 10 products perfect for pale skin!

*For point of reference my skin is Mac NW13 and even that is slightly too dark so I’m a ghost!*

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – Chantilly

This has to be the first pale girl product mentioned. It has been my go to concealer for years and the only concealer I’d ever found that was truly pale enough for me. It has incredible coverage, lasts all day and doesn’t cake or flake around any of my dry patches!

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick & Bite Beauty Lip Liner #010

I have a full review on Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick which you can give a read if you like. It’s honestly worth every penny of the £26.95 price tag and my perfect everyday ‘my lips but better’ shade! I pair this with Bite Beauty’s #010 lip liner and I’m obsessed with the combination. It’s perfect for pale skin as it doesn’t wash you out due to the rich pink tone but also is subtle enough that it’s still in the nude category.

Revlon Colourstay foundation 110 Ivory

I was actually rather surprised by this foundation to be honest. I’ve done a full review of Revlon’s Colourstay foundation in the past and it’s actually stuck as a firm favourite. It’s the first drug store foundation I’ve found that’s truly pale enough. It has excellent coverage, really does stay on ALL DAY and wears very well. If you’re looking for an affordable drug store foundation this is the one to go for! They also have it in 2 different formulas, a normal/dry skin and a combination/oily skin formaula so there’s something to suit everyone!

NYX Strobe of Genius palette

How could I not mention this stunning palette?! You all know my love for the NYX Strobe of Genius palette by now but it wouldn’t feel right not to include it. This palette has so many shades perfect for us pale girls and is so affordable you’d be crazy not to pick it up!

Tarte Shape Tape – Fair

Tarte’s Shape Tape is a rather recent find and I’m so pleased its light enough for us pale girls! I was so nervous buying this off the Tarte site as I obviously couldn’t swatch it in person but thankfully the shade is almost identical to my Nars Radiant Creamy concealer in Chantilly. I’m loving the coverage of this and how little you need to cover any blemishes so this is another must have for pale girls!

Lipstick Queen – Mornin’ Sunshine

This lipstick is a new find, I won it in a giveaway and I’m so glad I did because I’m obsessed. It’s perfect for pale skin because it changes colour to suit you! Cool huh? It uses the PH of your skin to decide what colour it’s going to be. The yellow changes to a gorgeous coral pink shade. My mum and sister have tried it on too and it’s a completly different colour on them as well so this will suit everyone!

Benecos Natural Powder blush*

I just love this blush for everyday! It’s affordable and cruelty free. It’s not insanely pigmented and it just gives your cheeks a gorgeous natural flush. Blush is difficult for pale girls because it can make you look like someone’s slapped you across the face! I’m currently on the hunt for more though and promise to do a post on perfect pale girl blushes in the near future!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow

If you’re a ghost like me then you need this pallete. I lusted after this for longer than I care to admit before finally giving in and splurging on this £50 palette of dreams! Since getting this I’ve gotten rid of all of my other bronzers because none of them were as perfect as this one! I use it everyday both as a bronzer and in my crease if I don’t have the time/energy to do a full eye look. The highlight shade is also gorgeous and gives a beautiful lit form within glow.

Eyelure Brow Contour

I won this pencil in a giveaway and have fallen in love with it! It’s actually replaced my NYX Micro Brow Pencil. I find a lot of brow products can look orangey on pale skin so this was a welcome find! It’s definitely worth picking this up and giving it a try. It also only costs about £5 so it’s very affordable too.

I’ve tried to vary the products mentioned as much as possible in this post and cover products from all price ranges too! Make sure to check out Becca’s post for some more products perfect for pale skin. Do you have any pale girl friendly products you swear by?
