I’m sure you all know by now I’m a big nail care fan and follow my nail care routine religiously! A while ago I was kindly sent some products from Leighton Denny to try out. Leighton Denny are one of my favourite nail brands along with OPI and China Glaze. I already own a couple of polishes which I love so I was excited to try out some more goodies from the brand.
Nail polish – Leading Lilac & Bronzed Babe*
These two nail polishes are such gorgeous shades, I think they’ll be perfect for the Autumn. The formula is long lasting and very pigmented so you only need a single coat to get a good colour pay off. These lasted for five or six days before chipping which I think is excellent! I’ll definitely be picking up a few more shades.
Marvel Balm – Floral limited edition*
As soon as I saw this I was so excited to try it. The Marvel Balm can be applied to dry areas like cuticles, lips and even elbows. This balm is in the limited edition floral scent and I absolutely love it! It smells really fresh and floral (surprise surprise!) and makes me think of summer. I’ve been applying it to my cuticles, morning and evening and it’s working wonders. It’s just as good as my beloved OPI Avoplex cuticle oil and is much more affordable. This costs only £10 for 30ml and a little goes a long way! I also love the little squeezy tube, it’s so perfect to pop in your handbag if you’re out and about.
In The Gloss Plumping Top Coat*
I have been searching for the perfect top coat for ages! I’ve tried out so many but none of them have been what I’m looking for. My ideal top coat is a high shine, fast drying top coat that makes my nail polish last longer and finally I’ve found the one! This ‘In The Gloss’ top coat is a gel like polish. It has the gorgeous high shine you expect from gel polish but you don’t need a UV light to set it. It dries super quickly and honestly I cannot fault this. If you’re looking for a good top coat this is the one to go for!
Crystal Nail File*
I’ve always been curious about crystal nail files. I’ve read that they’re supposed to be kinder to your nails. They’re the only sort of nail file where you don’t have to file in the one direction. Obviously you have to be careful with crystal files as they can break so I was very impressed to see this one comes with its own carry case. It’s so easy to use and really gentle on your nails. This file would be absolutely perfect for those with weak, thin nails but would also work for those with stronger nails. It’s genuinely converted me to using a crystal nail file, my other files seem so harsh in comparison now! You also don’t need to replace this file, all you need to do is wash it under warm water every so often to keep it good as new!
I really love all of the goodies I tried from Leighton Denny. I’m so over the moon to have discovered the best top coat ever and I’m loving the crystal nail file. You can buy Leighton Denny products direct from the Leighton Denny website or from shops like M&S.
