A few weeks ago I attended The Body Shop Belfast’s blogger event. It was such a great night. The store looked incredible, we learnt about some of The Body Shop recent releases and were pampered with skincare consultations, makeovers and hand & arm massages. We were also lucky enough to get a little goodie bag of some of The Body Shop products and I ofcourse had to pick up the new Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask!
Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask
As soon as this was released I just knew I had to try it! I swear by The Body Shop’s tea tree toner, it works wonders for breakouts so I was hoping this would be just as good. This is a more intensive version of the toner. It has a jelly like texture which I absolutely love and it’s very cooling when you apply it. The best part about this mask though is the fact that it dries in really quickly so you won’t get it all over your pillow! I’ve been applying this every night after cleansing and toning but before moisturising. You can use this as a spot treatment and apply it just on breakouts or as a preventative treatment like I’ve been doing and apply it to the areas where you get most of your breakouts, for me this is my chin and forehead. I’ve only been using this for a week or so now but I’m loving the results so far, it’s definitely keeping my spots at bay and I’ll definitely be continuing to use it!
Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel*
Who doesn’t love a good shower gel? This pink grapefruit scented gel is so refreshing, perfect for a morning shower to wake you up! It hasn’t dried my skin out at all and I really like the formula. I’m going to have to pick up a few more scents! Do you have any recommendations?
Chinese Ginsing & Rice Clarifying Milky Toner*
I was really intrigued by this toner. It’s vegan, alcohol free and contains organic seasame seed oil. The aim of this toner is to make dull skin look brighter and smoother. I’ve only started using this so I can’t form a proper opinion yet but I really like how it feels on my skin and I haven’t had any breakouts or reactions which is a good sign! This is definitely safe for sensitive skin! I’m looking forward to seeing what effect this has on my skin over time.
I also got some little mini’s from the oils of life range, two face masks that I cannot wait to try (and will probably end up buying the full size!), a sample of the drops of youth cream and a little mini pot of the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing face mask. Have you tried any of these products before?
I had such a great time at the event and can’t wait to use all these products properly! Have you tried any of these products before? What are your The Body Shop favourites?
