I don’t know about the mainland but Northern Ireland’s weather has been freezing this month, Autumn is well and truly here. I have a very odd mix of favourites this month, some makeup, skincare and even a handcream!
Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting powder – medium
I’ve lusted after this luxury powder for years! I could never justify £35 for a tiny powder. When I got a Cult Beauty gift card at the end of August I knew exactly what to treat myself to! I actually swatched the sculpting powders in light and medium before ordering. The light shade was far too warm toned in my opinion to be a contour powder so I decided to go for medium. Although this powder has a fair bit of fall out I’m willing to look past that as it blends so insanely beautifully. If you’re nervous about contouring then this is definitely the product to go for as it’s so easy to use and looks flawless without a lot of effort!
Charlotte Tilbury Powder and Sculpt brush
Yet another product that I lusted after for ages and treated myself to with my Cult Beauty voucher. This brush was created to use alongside Charlotte Tilbury’s beautiful Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette. It’s the perfect shape for sculpting out your cheeks but can also be used to highlight your cheek bones and brow bones. Did I mention how insanely soft this brush is?!
Zoeva Petit Stippling brush and Luxe Petit Crease brush
I’ve quite a few makeup brush favourites this month! Zoeva brushes are another of my favourites alongside my trusty Spectrum brushes and I couldn’t resist picking up a few from their rose gold collection, they’re just so pretty! I’d been looking for a small brush for my lower lash line and when my sister was home I fell in love with her Luxe Petit Crease brush so I had to pick it up! I got the Petit Stippling brush to use alongside my Kevyn Aucoin Scupting powder as Allana Davison swears by a stippling brush for contouring. Both brushes are so soft and blend powders beautifully and they’re just so pretty!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask
If you read my recent The Body Shop haul you’ll know I picked this up at a recent blogger event. I have fallen head over heels in love with it! I use this every night after cleansing and toning but before moisturiser. It has the weirdest jelly like consistency but I love how it feels on the skin, I find it very cooling. It’s clear and dries in super quickly so you’ve no need to worry about getting it all over your pillow. It’s been keeping my breakouts at bay and I’m honestly so impressed with the results. If you haven’t tried anything from The Body Shop’s tea tree range I’d definitely recommend giving this a go.
BeingXSanctuary Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom hand cream
This is the best smelling hand cream ever! You may have seen Sanctuary in Boots before. They recently created a new range called Being. It has the prettiest packaging and all the scents are amazing! I have a few products from the range but this Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom has been a firm favourite. It smells so fresh and sinks in really quickly. It’s also perfectly sized for popping in your handbag. A must have for this colder weather!
Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser*
My final favourite this month is this cleanser from Pai which I got from Beauty Expert. I’d been dying to try some products from Pai for a while now and this cleanser has not disappointed. It’s a creamy cleanser perfect for those no makeup days when your skin is irritated and needs to be soothed. It’s so gentle and doesn’t strip away any of your skins naturals oils. This is a must have for those with sensitive skin!
I can’t believe that’s another month over already, this year is absolutely flying by! Have you tried any of my favourites? What have you been loving this month?
