Princess Hair with Cliphair Extensions

Who doesn’t want princess hair?? If you read my A/W fashion post you’ll have already seen my gorgeous extensions * from Cliphair. I am completely in love with them.

I’d always wanted to try extensions but didn’t have the first idea about getting ones that actually looked nice and natural.

I didn’t know how to go about picking the right shade for extensions but thankfully Cliphair have a colour matching service. You can either send a few pictures of your hair in natural light or you can cut off a little bit of your own hair and post it to them, whatever’s easiest. I sent a few photos and Cliphair’s colour matching team gave me a few options that they thought would work best. I selected the ‘Brown/Ginger Blonde mix‘ for myself to make the most of my natural highlights and make them stand out. As I wanted princess hair I opted for the longest length and got 24″ extensions. Cliphair do have other lengths though so dont panic if mine look too long for what you had in mind!

The extensions arrived super quickly and they’re insanely soft, almost softer than my own excessively conditioned hair! You get a selection of extensions, 2 long three clip, 2 shorter three clips, 2 two clips and 2 one clips. They’re so easy to put in, you just divide your hair into sections and clip each extension in at the root. You can then brush, straighten or curl them to help them blend flawlessly with your own hair.

It’s advised you wash your extensions after every 20 or so wears to keep them in the best condition, you can also dye them! I’d definitely advise checking out all the colour options and lengths on Cliphair’s website.

Styling them is so easy. As you can see from the photos you can wear your hair up or down with them too. You also don’t have to put all the extensions in at once. If you’re just wanting to add a little volume to your pony tail just use a few of the wider extensions at the bottom root of your hair, I think it looks gorgeous for a curly pony tail!
