One last Christmas post before I say goodbye to all my pretty Christmas decorations! I will admit I had planned to have this post go live just before Christmas but my health unfortunately got in the way and I just wasn’t able to get content out. I just had to share these lush treats with you though, as they throughly helped me relax throughout the festive period and if you’re lucky you might still be able to pick up a few of the festive treats in Lush’s in store sale.
Bubble Bar
Now Tim and I have moved house and have a bath I can finally try one of Lush’s bubble bars! This bubble bar is called the Magic of Christmas* and could it be any prettier?! My favourite thing about bubble bars is the fact you can get multiple uses from each product. I got three very bubble filled baths out of this wand. (I probably could have got more but I like a major amount of bubbles!) It’s scented with cinnamon and cloves and smells so festive! I wish I’d picked a few more of these up, I’ll definitely be stocking up next Christmas.
Exfoliating Body Butter
This is a Christmas edition of one of my all time favourite Lush products, the ‘Buffy bar’,* unlike the original which is unscented this Christmas exfoliating bar is peppermint scented. It’s just as amazing as the original but was nice to have the festive scent. If you haven’t tried the original I’d highly recommend you give it a go. Not only does it exfoliate but it also moisturises your skin at the same time leaving it silky soft after use.
Shower Jelly
I adore Lush shower jellies they’re one of my favourite shower treats and this little snowman* is no exception! Scented with bergamot and lemon this shower jelly is the perfect morning wake up. It’s almost too adorable to use!
Fresh Face Mask
Of course a face mace is a much have for a relaxing chill night. My skin suffered with some major breakouts over the festive period so the BB Seaweed fresh face mask* was a life saver. It contains aloe vera which soothes skin making it perfect for us sensitive skinned gals. It deeply cleanses too so it’s perfect when you’re suffering with breakouts. Just remember though that this is a fresh mask so it must be kept in the fridge and has a shorter use by than most lush products.
Hand & Body Lotion
Finally I love to lather myself in moisturiser. Even though Christmas is over the cold weather isn’t so Dream Cream* is still an essential. As usual in the colder weather my exczema flares up and this little pot of heaven has been a life saver! It’s perfect for my sensitive skin and keeps my exczema flare ups hydrated without aggravating them further. This moisturiser has become an essential and I’ll definitely be stocking up when this pot runs out.
Naked Lip Scrub
Unfortunately this adorable little naked lip scrub in Sugar Plum* is limited edition to Christmas. Lush do seem to release this ever year though so don’t panic, just make a note now and keep an eye out next year! I personally love the idea of solid lip scrubs. They were created to cut back on unnecessary packaging but I actually think they work better than Lush’s potted scrubs. The potted scrubs I found quite messy but because this is solid and you rub it on like a lip balm you don’t waste half as much product. I hope they bring out all the lip scrubs in this form as I’d definitely pick up a bubblegum!
I hope you enjoyed this little Lush haul and again I apologise that some of the products mentioned are limited to Christmas time only! Lush always bring out amazing new product launches so I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for them!
