I’ll be honest, I’m a creature of habit and a makeup brush snob. I stick to my usual Spectrum & Zoeva brushes as I’ve never found anything else I liked. That was until I came across Crown Brushes. Not only do they sell makeup brushes but they also have their own cosmetics line. They kindly sent me a few products to try out and show you.
Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette
I am head over heels for this stunning eyeshadow palette. The colours are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for spring and Valentine’s Day! I’ll definitely be using this palette for Tim and I’s Valentine’s date night. The palette has a great mix of shimmer and matte shades and a huge range of colours. The eyeshadow’s are also very pigmented for the price. You get 35 shadows for only £22.99! They blend out beautifully and you can create so many different looks due to the huge range of colours.
I’ve swatched a selection of both the shimmer and matte shades to show you the pigmentation, I’m particularly impressed with the shimmers!
As always swatches photos are one swipe, unedited and in natural light.
Makeup Brushes
Large Duo Fibre Face Brush
If you read my starter makeup brush guide you’ll know I love to use a stipple brush for bronzer. Due to my ghostly pale skin bronzer is something I have to be very light handed with to stop me looking like an oompah loompah and a stipple brush is the perfect way to do this. I love how particularly large and fluffy this brush is, it’s insanely soft but still picks up product well. This brush now has pride of place in my ‘everyday brushes pot’ and I’m sure I’ll be using it for years to come!
I then chose three different eyeshadow brushes. I currently only have three eyeshadow brushes that I really reach for all the time and that means I have to wash them ALL THE TIME, which is rather annoying. I’ve been wanting to try out some new eyeshadow brushes so this was the perfect opportunity.
Pro Sculpting Crease Brush
This crease brush is long, soft and slightly fluffy and perfect for a defined crease.
Syntho Deluxe Blending Crease Brush
The Syntho blending brush is a lot shorter and one of the soft brushes I’ve ever felt! I absolutely adore the synthetic fibres and they blend eyeshadow like a dream. I want to stock up on a few of these so I have a collection of clean blending brushes.
Pro Crease Detail Brush
The crease detail brush is very similar to my trusty Zoeva Petite Crease Brush only it’s even tinier and I just love the defined tip.
I hope you enjoyed this little introduction to Crown Brushes. I’m so pleased I was introduced to them! All of the brushes mentioned and the stunning rose gold eyeshadow palette can be ordered on Crown Brushes site. Chloe Alice Lily has also been trying out some Crown Brushes products.
