I haven’t written a beauty favourites post since last year! I cannot believe it’s been so long, they used to be one of my most favourite posts to write! Since finding out I’m expecting beauty products fell much lower down my list of priorities, especially when the pregnancy fatigue set in. Thankfully though I’m feeling more and more like myself and have a jumble of products that I’ve been using lots recently and just had to talk about them!
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
If you’ve read my in depth review of Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter you’ll already know what a huge fan I am but I just had to mention it again! A perfect summer time product, Flawless Filter gives your foundation and skin a beautiful natural glow. My skin has been insanely dry over the past few months but you can’t tell whenever I use the Flawless Filter. It makes my face look soft, plump and glowy and I just can’t stop using it! This is every dry skinned gal’s best friend!
Natural World Shampoo & Conditioner
My hair has grown a lot during pregnancy, it’s much thicker than it had previously been but unfortunately has been just as frizzy. Natural World kindly sent me their Keratin Rich Shampoo* and Conditioner* to see if they would help tame my mane and I’m loving the results! My hair is smoother and much softer. My hairdresser actually commented on what great condition my hair is in so they much be doing a great job. They’re also super affordable! You get a massive 1L bottle for only £6! Don’t worry if frizzy hair isn’t your issue, Natural World have a whole range of shampoos and conditioners to suit different hair types so I’d highly recommend checking them out, there’s bound to be one suitable for your hair type. You can stock up at your local Tesco or online.
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
As a pale girl bronzer is one of the most frustrating makeup products. Almost every bronzer I’ve tried is just far too dark and orange for my ghostly skin. I don’t normally stray from my tried and tested bronzer shade in my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette but when the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer* arrived at my door the chocolate scent tempted me in and I just had to try it! It is slightly warmer toned than the CT bronzer but the shade is perfect for summer and really, who doesn’t want to smell chocolate as they do their makeup in the morning?! I know I do!
Temple Spa Sole Balm
I have found pregnancy to be an absolute killer to my feet and legs. Due to working in a primary school, I’m on my feet all day, everyday, from 8-3 so that hasn’t helped either! My favourites over at Temple Spa sent me a lovely bundle of goodies to pamper myself with during pregnancy which I’ll have a post up all about next week. I just had to mention the Sole Balm though. My feet have never felt more soothed, pampered and relaxed! I’ve been applying this to my tired feet every night before bed and wow, the difference is amazing!
Glossier Balm Dot Com
I’ve a full review of the few bits I picked up from Glossier coming next week, the Balm Dot Com has been one of my favourite finds! I picked the rose scented untinted balm and it’s been a handbag must have ever since! It’s non sticky but super hydrating and I love the little tube it comes in. You can get 10% off at Glossier using this link.
