I’ve been a huge fan of The Essential One from the second I started looking for baby clothes. If you read my Ultimate Guide to Gender Neutral Baby Clothes you’ll know how impressed I am with The Essential One’s range of clothes. All of their outfits are thick, cosy and made of super soft, good quality cotton so you know they’re safe for sensitive newborn and baby skin. They kindly sent me a few more bits for Squish and I couldn’t be more in love.
I picked this gorgeous three pack of stripey, nautical themed, gender neutral sleepsuits. I am always blown away by the quality and softness of The Essential One’s clothes and these baby grows are no exception. The patterns are adorable and the baby grows are super practical too with built in scratch mits and poppers the whole way down to make all the nappy changes a little easier! Each multipack of sleep suits or vests also comes with a little cotton storage bag. I plan to use these little bags for a change of clothes to pop in my changing bag.
The Essential One have a maternity section too and thankfully the mummy clothes are just as soft and cosy made from the same amazing quality cotton! I have a pair of their star print maternity pyjamas and they’re the most comfy pj’s I own! They’ve lots of space for my ever growing bump and are even nursing friendly so I can keep wearing them after Squish is born and I’m feeding!
The Essential One have also released a SS18 Nursery Interior range which is to die for! I have the little grey cotton cloud blanket which is part of the range and it’s the most soft and well made blanket I think I’ve ever felt! The blankets all come beautifully wrapped so they’d make a perfect baby shower or new baby gift! They also have cushions, cuddly toys and cot bed sets in lots of different pattern which are well worth checking out.
Seriously, whether you’re expecting yourself or are just looking for some gift inspiration for a friend I’d highly recommend checking out The Essential One. I’m sure Squish will have many more outfits to come from the brand and I can’t wait to decorate the nursery with their interiors collection.
