At 31 Weeks pregnant fitting into my prebump clothing is now an absolute no. Sadly this means all my usual summer dresses are now sat gathering dust at the back of my wardrobe and I’m stuck dying in the heat! Thankfully my favs over at Tiffany Rose Maternity have treated me to some gorgeous new dresses that I just had to share!
The first dress I picked up is the Alessandra dress. It’s absolutely gorgeous, super flattering and perfect for summer. I was worried about finding a dress that would be suitable for work in a primary school but comfortable enough and that kept me cool. The dress is perfect and just below knee length. (I’m 5’ 4 so if you’re a bit taller it might be just at your knee or slightly above) What I love most though is the dress comes in multiple different patterns and they all make the dress look super different!
The pink floral pattern is English Rose while the white more subtly floral dress is Japanese Garden. There’s another eight different patterns to chose from so there’s a pattern to suit anyone’s style. Both dresses are made of super soft viscose.
I have a family wedding in a weeks time and I’ve been super anxious about finding an outfit that looks flattering in photos and suits my bump while also being super smart. I came across the Freya lace dress and absolutely fell in love. It’s exactly like the sort of style of dress I would have gone for before bump so I knew I was going to feel super comfortable wearing it. Again this dress comes in a few different colour options, I picked up one in navy blue and another in a gorgeous blush pink to decide between.
The Freya style is super flattering, it falls over my bump beautifully and again is a perfect length for my 5’ 4 height. I truly can’t wait to wear one to the wedding and take lots of outfit photos! Which colour do you prefer?
These beautiful dresses have really helped my confidence as I’ve been feeling a little down about my figure recently. I guess I’m just not used to carrying the extra weight around and I miss my old clothes a little.
