Touch in Sol First Impressions

I came across Touch in Sol products during a recent nosey through Feel Unique. Touch in Sol are a Korean skincare and makeup brand. I was particularly drawn to their two SPF products. A primer and a finishing powder both containing SPF 30! Feel Unique also have an offer on currently where you receive a free Liquid Foil and Glitter Eyeshadow with a purchase of two Touch in Sol products so I took the plunge and placed my order!

Dark Out Long Lasting Primer Base SPF30 PA++

Dark Out Long Lasting Primer comes in three shades, purple to bring brightness to dull and sallow skin, peach to correct dark spots and pigmentation on the skin and green to correct problem areas and remove skin redness. As a pale skinned girl, redness is one of my major issues so I picked the green primer. It has a lovely creamy consistency that when blended into the skin becomes velvety and smooth. My skin definitely looks visibly less red whenever I apply this so it holds up to its antiredness claims. I’m not sure this makes my makeup last any longer throughout the day but it creates a lovely smooth base for makeup application and prevents makeup sinking into my skin. It also has SPF 30 which is the main reason I purchased this so all in all I’m very happy and will continue to use this throughout the summertime.

Pang Pang Sun Cutting Powder High Protection SPF30 PA+++

The Pang Pang Sun Cutting Powder was the product that had really caught my eye to start with! My most hated part about suncream is the horrible sticky white sheen that is left on your skin after application so a powder suncream seemed like the perfect solution to this! I will admit when this powder arrived I was a little taken aback by how small the pot is, on further inspection though you get 10g for £20 which is similar to other powders I use. The pot just seemed smaller in comparison! I’ll get the negative with this powder out of the way first. I cannot stand the packaging! The pot has a removable lid with sponge applicator underneath. You then twist this sponge revealing the powder which goes everywhere the second you put a brush or the sponge into it as there is no sifter. I feel like I’m wasting so much product which is rather disappointing! I’m actually investigating ordering a sift top pot to transfer the powder into as it’s annoying me so much!

The actually powder on the other hand is amazing! It’s super lightweight, blends into skin flawlessly and protects my face from the scorching sun we’ve had over the past week or so. It doesn’t flashback in photos or leave a white cast to my skin, it isn’t drying, doesn’t cling to any dry patches and keeps away any oiliness and shine throughout the day. As long as I can successfully transfer the powder to a different pot this powder has a big thumbs up from me! I just wish they’d change the packaging!

Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Shadow Duo Talia

The Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Eyeshadow was my free gift with purchase and I’m so glad I’ve been introduced to it! I only received a mini size of this but I’m hooked already and 100% want to try out all the rest of the shades in the range. One side has a gorgeous liquid glitter eyeshadow in a beautiful gold shade while the other side contains the liquid foil which can be added on top to make your eyes look even more sparkly! It’s so easy to apply and lasts for hours without creasing. I’ve swatched in natural light and in sunlight to try and show you just how beautifully sparkly the shadow and foil are.

I’m so pleased to have discovered Touch in Sol, I can’t wait to try more from the brand. Have you heard of them before? Have you tried any of the products I’ve mentioned? What’re your favourite Touch in Sol products that I need to try out?
