The magic has come back to Christmas and honestly I feel like a kid again! Obviously Theodore’s a teeny bit little this year to truly understand what’s going on but I still want to make it super special for him and start our little traditions for us to continue through the years! My sisters and I always got Christmas pj’s to wear on Christmas Eve and would sit down and watch a dvd and have some goodies. I want Theodore to have the same tradition and Matalan have a Christmas Eve Box Builder to help make it super easy!
The first step to building the perfect Christmas Eve Box is of course the box! Matalan have so many gift boxes, present tags, wrapping papers and other gift wrapping to make your Christmas Eve box super exciting to open. I wanted something really cute to pop under the tree year after year so picked the Santa’s Elves box for Theodore. I love the design and it’s a really great size to fit lots of goodies inside.
The next priority for me was pj’s! I loved getting new pajamas at Christmas time, even now mum treats my sisters and I to a new pair each year! As this is a rather special Christmas for Theodore and I, I picked a gorgeous ‘My First Christmas’ baby grow. It’s super cute and gender neutral so is perfect for any little boy or girl’s first Christmas Eve Box. Don’t worry if your little one has already experienced their first Christmas, there’s so many other pj’s and onsies to choose from!
Matalan have a selection of super cosy, affordable blankets perfect for snuggling up on the sofa with on Christmas Eve. I think a Christmas blanket is a perfect addition to a Christmas Eve Box and something you can use year after year.
Once Theodore’s a bit bigger I’ll be adding a DVD and some snacks for a Christmas Eve movie night. As he’s still little though I thought I’d add a few more festive clothing items. I picked the cutest little striped leggings and vest combo with a little stripey red hat for him to wear on Christmas Day. Of course Theodore’s feet need to stay nice and toasty during the festive season and I couldn’t resist the cutest little elf boot slippers!
A final little treat for Theodore’s Christmas Eve Box was an adorable cuddly reindeer. There’s lots of other toys, games and cuddly animals to chose from depending on your little ones age to keep them amused the night before the oh so exciting Christmas morning!
