I’ll be honest I’m not the most fashionable. I’ll never cut it as a fashion blogger with perfectly curated outfits and outfit shots. That doesn’t mean I wear a bin bag everyday though so I thought I’d put together a little post on my everyday picks for a casual spring/ summer wardrobe.
Leggings
Leggings are always a staple in my wardrobe whatever the season if I’m honest! Zara is my go to for leggings that look smart but are also comfy and casual. I hate leggings that are too see through and the Zara ones never have that problem, they also keep their shape no matter how many times they’re washed so I’d highly recommend.
Skirts
Skirts are perfect for this time of year and everyone seems to be jumping on the midi/maxi skirt trend. I absolutely love the look but was really anxious I wouldn’t suit it, especially as I’m quite short. I placed a big ASOS order a few weeks back and couldn’t help but add a few skirts and I’ve fallen in love. My all time fav is this gorgeous green floral maxi skirt. It’s so flattering and kept me nice and cool during our mini Easter heat wave. I also picked up this stunning pink midi skirt for a slightly less summery look. It’s super easy to dress up or down with converse or pumps and would work during the day or for an evening out for dinner and drinks. Here’s a few other skirts I’ve been eyeing up, if you’re worried about whether you can pull off a midi skirt I’d just say go for it and order some, I was pleasantly surprised!
T-Shirts
There’s nothing like a stripey or graphic tee for everyday. I’m such a sucker for stripes in particular, I’m pretty sure I have maybe 8 navy/white stripey tees that all look almost identical! I think they’re so versatile though as they can look casual or dressy.
