Current Makeup Favourites

It’s been a long time since I’ve written up a makeup favourites and I’m not going to lie I’ve missed it! We’re down to our last few weeks of warm(ish) weather before autumn sets in so these are a few of my end of summer makeup picks that I’ve been reaching for to create a quick and easy glowy summer base.

With the warm weather I haven’t wanted to wear a heavy foundation, it clogs your pores and just feels too much in the sunshine. The perfect solution has been Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter with a little bit of Nars Soft Matte Concealer to cover any blemishes and dark under eye circles. The Flawless Filter evens out your complexion and gives it a beautiful glow. I’m honestly obsessed with it.

I’ve then been reaching for Touch In Sol’s Pang Pang Sun Cutting Powder to set my face. This powder has SPF 30 so protects your face from the sun and can be reapplied over your makeup throughout the day too without ruining your makeup with a cream based SPF. It’s so important to wear an SPF every day, even throughout autumn and winter so this powder is the perfect solution.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow is a staple no matter what the season. I don’t think I’ll ever find a bronzer or highlighter I love as much, they apply effortlessly and are worth every penny. If you haven’t purchased this palette yet then it needs to be added to the top of your ‘to buy’ list, you won’t regret it.

Being pale I constantly look blushed in the warm weather anyway so I apply a small amount of Hourglass’ ethereal glow blush on the apples of my cheeks to give a little bit of subtle colour.

Glossier Boy Brow has consistently been my brow product of choice over the past year, it sets my brows without making them go ‘crispy’ like some cheaper brow products on the market and I love that there’s a tinted option to give my brows a little extra definition.

Lancome’s Monsieur Big Mascara has become my new holy grail mascara, I have the original formula and the waterproof and reach for either depending on what I’m doing each day. Both formula’s last all day with little to no smudging and give my lashes a real boost.

I’d love to know some of your favourite makeup products currently. Are you going to be changing up any products coming into the autumn weather?
