It’s officially February, the month of love and Valentine’s Day is coming up. Whether you’re looking to treat your self, your gal pals or your other half, this guide is full of plenty of ideas to help you pick the perfect gifts and treats. I’ll be spending Valentine’s with my tiny little love this year, planning a cute mama and baby date day!
Whenever I think Valentine’s Day I automatically think beautiful flowers and bouquets. Blossoming Gifts have a such a big selection of stunning bouquets and letter box flowers that there’s bound to be something to suit everyone’s taste. I love having fresh flowers around the house and fell in love with the stunning white letterbox roses. They arrived beautifully packaged and are guaranteed to be fresh for at least 7 days. Check out Blossoming Gifts Valentine’s Collection to help you decide what stunning bouquet to pick, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Fragrance
In my opinion you can never go wrong with gifting a fragrance no matter what the occasion. As always Fragrance Direct have a massive range to choose from at extremely competitive prices, they’re always my go to place if I need a new perfume. If you’re looking ‘For Him’ then I’d recommend Paco Rabanne’s One Million. A warm, spicy manly scent perfect for your other half. You’ll not be surprised to read my fragrance suggestion ‘For Her’ is from Marc Jacob’s Daisy range, it’s always my fail safe gift choice for gals! Daisy Love Eau So Sweet was released a couple of months back and I think it makes a perfect Valentine’s scent, a lighter, sweeter version of Daisy Love in the trademark Daisy packaging, it’ll look super pretty on a dresser.
For Him
If you’re looking for some other gift ideas for him, Mainline menswear‘s have a huge selection of branded clothing and gift ideas. I particularly love this simple striped Levi’s tshirt which can be dressed up for a Valentine’s date night or down for a casual hot chocolate day date. Or this Nuxe set from Fragrance Direct for your man to pamper himself before your date.
For Her
Of course gals love a pamper treat too and Nuxe‘s Magique Gift Set from Fragrance Direct has all the products you need for a cosy evening in or you could treat your gal’s to some little handbag treats like these Dr Paw Paw Balms or Yardley Hand Creams.
If you’re looking to treat yourself or your special someone to something long term a Look Fantastic Beauty Box Subscription should be top of your list. I’m pretty impressed with January’s box and can’t wait to see what’s inside February’s! One of my fav items from January’s box are the Glov Reuseable Makeup Pads. I’ve been making a real effort to cut down on unnecessary waste and reusable makeup remover pads are a simple easy change you can make. I’ll have a full unboxing and review of January’s box up later this week but I’m super impressed with the Look Fantastic Beauty Box and think a subscription would be a great gift.
Experience
Valentine’s Day is all about the experience in my opinion. Buy A Gift have a huge range of vouchers for different experiences and date ideas all over the country that don’t just have to be used on Valentine’s Day, especially perfect for those busy with work and families. From afternoon tea, spa days, cinema date nights and hotel stays, gifting a voucher to your special someone to put away and know you’ve a treat coming up in the future would make a perfect gift. If you’re stuck trying to decide what voucher to pick, Buy A Gift have a whole section dedicated to Valentine’s to help you narrow down your selection.
To Eat & Drink
Unfortunately this didn’t arrive in time to photograph but a VonShef Waffle Maker is the perfect gift to help make a tasty Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed for your other half because seriously who doesn’t love waffles??
If you’re having a Valentine’s date night then nothing screams more made for Valentine’s than Mermaid Pink Gin infused with strawberries from the Isle of Wight Distillery or if you or your other half doesn’t like alcohol then you could make some Whittard’s limited edition Rhubarb and Custard White Hot Chocolate and with the help of a VonShef milk frother, you’ll be making barista style hot chocolates in the luxury of your own kitchen.
