The Scottish Fine Soaps Company’s Original Recipes range is one of my favourites, it combines traditional, natural ingredients with modern apothecary style. I love the stylish packaging of the range, it’s simple yet striking, would suit most bathrooms and is recyclable!
The Geranium & Lavender Original Recipes range is already something that features in my bathroom on a regular basis but I’ve recently also been trying out the White Tea & Vitamin E range and the Shea & Buttermilk range.
Each of the 4 Original Recipes ranges consists of 3 luxury products, a handwash, solid bar soap and a travel sized handcream.
The hand soap comes in a generous sized 500ml recyclable pump bottle so will last you or your lucky recipient ages even in this day and age where we’re washing our hands more than ever. It gently cleans hands using its plant based formula, without stripping away your naturals oils and is safe for all the family to use, even tiny toddler hands! Finish off by massaging some of the Original Recipes luxury hand cream loaded with Shea butter, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil to leave hands soft and cared for. The travel size hand creams are one of my favourite products from the range, I always have one in my hand bag or pocket. They sink into skin quickly without leaving a residue which is hard to come back in a hand cream these days. They’re ultra rich without being too heavy and are a bargain gift idea at only £4.99. The final product in the Original Recipes range is a luxury triple milled, long lasting solid bar soap in a variety of scents. They can be used on hands as well as your body. Using natural ingredients they lather well while gently cleansing and hydrating skin. The soaps are also packaged in fully recyclable paper even printed with biodegradable inks.
The White Tea & Vitamin E range is vegan friendly. Vitamin E is an antioxidant while also being ultra soothing and moisturising. A perfect range for those with more sensitive skin. The Shea & Buttermilk range is vegetarian friendly and soothes and replenishes dry skin.
