Is it just me or has this year gone insanely fast? I cannot believe it’s October Favourites time already!
My skin has taken a real hit this month with the dry weather and my sporadic skincare due to having a lot on at work and moving house so I’ve a few skincare saviours to mention. Alongside some makeup picks that have helped me look presentable even if I’m exhausted on the inside!
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist*
I have been wanting to try the Queen of Hungary Mist for the longest time! I absolutely love facial sprays (would anyone like a post on my favourites?!) and this mist from Omorovicza is supposed to be the Queen of them (pardon the pun) Omorovicza products are pricey but boy are they worth it! I’m yet to try a product from Omorovicza that I’m disappointed by. This mist is so light and refreshing, it’s the perfect hydrating boost for this time of year. It’s also supposed to help prevent wrinkles so that’s a big plus too!
Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Primer*
You may have seen me mention this primer in my post on the Feel Unique Best of Box. I’m so glad they introduced me to this baby and just in time for winter! My skin has been so dry due to the colder weather (my eczema is going crazy!) so this primer is a life saver. It hydrates your skin throughout the day and stops foundation sinking into your pores too so it’s a win win! It almost feels like a moisturiser which I love.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette*
This gorgeous palette has been my go to the past few weeks. I got this from Cherry Berry Cosmetics, you can get one too for only £29 if you use the code PALEGIRL20 at the checkout. The Naked 2 has a perfect mix of matte and shimmer shades. Some perfect for day time and the silvery shades at the right hand side for night time. I honestly can’t believe I waited so long to add this palette to my collection, I couldn’t be without it now!
Temple Spa Stroke of Genius Mascara*
Now this is my new favourite mascara. Temple Spa call it the ‘little black dress for your lashes’ and it really is! This mascara has ‘a conditioning formula that separates, curls, defines and lifts each lash for full and voluptuous lashes’ I’ve only been using this for a few weeks now so I can’t say if it conditions my lashes just yet but it makes them so beautifully long without making them clumpy (my pet hate). I feel so much happier knowing I’m using a mascara that’s benefiting my lashes. Temple Spa products are of course cruelty free too!
Urban Veda Soothing Facial Oil*
If you read my post on Monday on the Urban Veda facial oils I’ve been trying out you’ll know I’m completely hooked so it wouldn’t be fair not to mention them in my favourites this month. The soothing oil in particular is a firm favourite and has been a life saver alongside my Laura Geller Spackle Primer. I just can’t get over how hydrating it is while still being so lightweight!
I hope you enjoyed my October Favourites, I really love looking back on the products I’ve loved each month. What have you been loving this month? Have you been putting a focus on skincare to try and beat the colder weather?
