A while ago on twitter I asked if you’d like to see some fashion content from me? The answer was a resounding yes! So I thought I’d put together a little collection of my favourite Autumn / Winter fashion picks. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure I actually have a ‘style’, I just wear whatever takes my fancy! I’m obsessed with stripes and cosy jumpers and bobble hats (I have far too many and can always make an excuse to add another to my wardrobe!) I work in a primary school so I like my clothes to be presentable enough for work but something I can also wear on the weekend.
This cute burgundy pinafore and stripey top are both from Topshop. I think pinafores are perfect for this time of year and I’d been lusting after this one in particular for ages! Burgundy is one of my favourite Autumn/Winter colours, I have a burgundy bobble hat and a few burgundy jumpers too! I think pinafores can be worn casually with jumpers, converse or boots or dressed up with heels.
I accessoried this with my gorgeous Daniel Wellington Petite Ashfield watch and bangle that you’ll hear more about next Sunday! In the meantime though you can get 15% off watches at Daniel Wellington using the code ‘palegirlrambling’, they’ve got a great Black Friday sale on too!
A new brand I’ve come across recently are LOTD. They stock some gorgeous pieces at really affordable prices. (There’s also 75% off this weekend so now is the time to pick up some bargains!) They kindly let me pick a few bits to show you. This mustard yellow jumper* was a daring pick for me! I don’t normally go for brighter colours but when I saw it on their site I knew it would look perfect with my favourite dunagarees. It’s cropped but not at that annoying length, it’s still long enough to cover up in the colder weather!
These dungarees are a staple in my wardrobe! They’re also from Topshop and again, like the pinafore, they can be dressed up with heels or shoe boots or worn casually with a pair of converse. They’re from Topshop’s Petite range as I have rather short legs. I like to roll the bottoms up slightly when wearing them with heels but they can be rolled down to wear with converse. They’re so insanely comfy, I will 100% repurchase when they’ve seen better days.
A little skirt and jumper is the perfect combo for that transitional time between Autumn and Winter. Both these outfits are from LOTD. I’m obsessed with the button detailing on the skirts. I had planned to get only one but I couldn’t decide between the colours! The black skirt* can be worn with almost anything. Both skirts are a really good length, not too long but not short enough that they’re no longer appropriate for school. The burgundy/ pink skirt* is obviously more of a statement but I think it goes perfectly with the casual navy chenille jumper* I picked up from LOTD.
I also just had to mention my princess hair in this post! I received some absolutely stunning hair extensions* from Cliphair that I’ve been absolutely obsessed with. I have quite long hair already but I’ve always wanted to try extensions so I could have waist length hair. When Cliphair got in contact I was so happy! There’ll be a full post all about these extensions in a few weeks but I just love how natural they look!
I hope you enjoyed my very first fashion post! I’d love to know your thoughts!
